We're going out on a limb here and really hope for some discussion. We'd like to hear about your favorite artisan shows. Why do you like them? Where are they? When are they? These can be handmade, fine art, food, design - wherever you've found something that enriched your life or inspired you in some way.
To start off, Artizen recently attended BrickFair in Northern Virginia. Now we realized that this was a relatively small show, compared to something like LEGO World, but it had some real heart to it. Lego fans got together and poured their geeky souls into some incredibly cool and inspiring environments and inventions. There are several photos HERE, thanks to Brian Mausolf and Artizen took a lot of one of our favorite exhibitors, so there's a story coming.
Another favorite art show in our corner of Virginia is the Crozet Arts & Crafts Festival. This festival is held in a small town just minutes away from Charlottesville. Parking is easy, the town of Crozet has some excellent food, not to mention the Mudhouse Coffee shop, and this show has some great artisans. It's not so large that you'll feel like you'll never see it all and there will be time to relax afterwards.
So there are two right now from Artizen. Please post your favorites!
